The problem

Saltmarsh sold sea salt and pantry staples from a market stall, in kraft pouches tied with string. Delis wanted the range; couriers flattened it, and the labels were unreadable from more than half a metre away.

What we made

A rigid tin and a flat-packed carton that ships without a crate, a label that holds at a metre, a two-piece gift set for Christmas, and a stencil the pair can run themselves for batches too small to print.

Packaging that survives a courier and reads from a metre away.

The result
The range ships flat and arrives intact. Saltmarsh set up seven delis in the first season and has added four lines since without redrawing anything.
